Casting out nines

Momo has been tided up in a sailing fashion this evening. Transformed from a floating barge in a seworthy-looking litte vessel. But never mind.. never trust the appearance. We need to test in the field!

Tomorrow we will go at sea for the first time in almost forty days since we stepped on board. We are all excited. We had to have the approval of the Marina de Guerra, the Dominican Navy, for making a little trial at sea. Some hours during which I need to test the four elements: rigging, the engine and the two crew members!

Clifton and Michael are also testing themselves. They fear seasickness. Furthermore one of them is in doubt if taking part to the crossing and testing a little bit of what the whole thing is going to be will help him deciding.
